MIDS Underway

I met a friend through Althea- Jian Zhuang(KC)and he needed a "partner"(hahahaha) to go with him to his MIDS Underway.

Apparantely, MIDS Underway is a social causal dinner for Navy to gather together for a night before they sail for a 6 weeks long journey.
The exact duration I am not sure la, but its just looooooooooonnnnng.

It was a very simple affair.

Its planned by themselves for themselves, inevitably, there were a few overlooks here and there.
Like the music system was bit faulty.
The emcee chosen was bit salah.
The games were unappealing.
Not enough tables and chairs.



Still, I got entertained through the night by this game with a guy wearing a wig dancing to Mambo songs!
HAHAHAHA, in case you didn't know, which I didn't till Althea and I went out, that I am highly amused by guys dancing to synchronise dancing.



So they have this game, where they picked 4(or is it 3) males and females to be crowned the Mambo King and Queen.
Then they taught the steps to some songs(which I can't remember the title la) and the participants supposed to dance to it.

The guy who taught had a wig on him!
I AM SO SO SO HIGHLY ENTERTAIN!
By his wig and his dancing routine!

So cute!
Wei, I wanna go out with you can?

But promise u must wear the wig okay? HEEHEE.





Taken twice because once my hair wasn't okay.

He's the one who won the competition. Think he also won some award in the camp.



Then the night ended with the guys packing up and I took cab back because the rest were going out.
